Your responsibilities
Supervise the team, ensure punctuality, quality and efficiency as well as compliance of the task performance with policies and KPIs.
Hold regular team meetings, support the team, promote open communication within the team.
Be a Subject Matter Expert for OtC related topics especially: posting bank statements, cash allocation, cash collection, credit management, factoring, cash flow forecast, reconciliation.
Oversee escalated issues in the OtC area and ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate month end close activities.
Manage the performance of the team and conduct regular performance evaluations of staff members, giving clear and adequate feedback.
Identify and contribute to continuous improvement and change initiatives, ensuring that improvements are incorporated in the work routine.
Build strong relationship with key stakeholders.
Coordination of data gathering for internal and external Auditors.

Our requirements
University degree in accounting / finance / business administration.
Min. 4 years of experience in finance &amp; accounting, including 1 years of team management or process coordination
Fully capable of communicating, negotiating, making presentations and reports in English. Knowledge of other European language will be an asset.
Able to multi-task and prioritize workload, plan, organize and coordinate work and resources in short and long-term.
Capable to influence, motivate, engage others, giving clear targets and direction to the team, delegating and empowering the team, tracking and managing progress to achieve results.
Able to work under pressure, having the self-drive to work and „can do” attitude&lt;br /&gt;

About the role
For our growing Energy Solutions division in Rhoon, we are looking for a Key Account Manager. In this role, you will develop and maintain relationships with key customers, identify new business opportunities, and drive profitable sales of batteries, chargers, and related solutions. You will also provide commercial and technical support to help customers achieve their goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare customer visits, sales actions, and account strategies.
- Maintain strong commercial and technical relationships with UPS, charger/rectifier manufacturers, and key accounts.
- Monitor market, customer, and product developments and identify new business opportunities.
- Drive sales growth by expanding existing accounts and acquiring new customers.
- Ensure our solutions are specified in new projects within target sectors.
- Visit customers regularly (target: 3 visits per day, 4 days per week).
- Maintain accurate customer and sales information in CRM and reports.
- Provide technical and commercial support on batteries, chargers, accessories, and services, including warranty-related support.
- Collaborate with the Sales Director Benelux on market strategy and customer approach.
- Represent the company at trade fairs and achieve agreed sales targets for revenue, margin, and payment terms.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar sales management role.
- Proven sales experience with the ability to advise and support customers on technical and technology-related matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical/commercial background.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English, with good command of Dutch and/or French.&lt;br /&gt;

Collaborate proactively with the Exide Sales Team to build strong customer relationships, helping to reduce technical delays and enhance overall project efficiency.
Liaise with customers throughout all stages of the Application Project to ensure complete and accurate capture of technical requirements.
Work closely with the Application Development Engineer to support and resolve production-related issues swiftly and effectively.
Coordinate with the Advanced Batteries Team (ABT) Technical Office to ensure correct application specifications and accurate Bills of Material.
Respond promptly to customer technical enquiries and issues, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
Provide on-site support for installations, including both scheduled and unscheduled follow-up visits.
Deliver in-country training sessions for technical support staff as required, ensuring high levels of technical competence and customer service. Offer remote support and clear next steps for field issues when on-site presence is not feasible.
Lead and manage rapid-response claims handling activities within the region.
Partner with the Regional Business Development Manager (BDM) to gain a deep understanding of customer applications and optimize Exide’s energy storage solutions for mutual benefit.
Collaborate with ABT to continuously refine and adapt the product portfolio to better meet evolving customer needs and expectations.
Collect and analyse technical data from customer feedback, industry conferences, publications, and other sources to contribute to a comprehensive competitive landscape study.
Required Skills:
Degree-level education in Engineering (University or Technical College).

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical and/or mechanical systems engineering.

Solid understanding of battery technologies, with a focus on Lithium-Ion and Battery Management Systems (BMS).

Familiarity with data bus integration protocols such as CAN and RS485.

Experience in industrial and automotive electric vehicle applications.

Knowledge of electric motors and drive systems is a strong advantage.

Hands-on experience in an electrical testing environment.

Exposure to battery systems ranging from low to high voltage (12V to 600V DC) is desirable.&lt;br /&gt;
