Collaborate proactively with the Exide Sales Team to build strong customer relationships, helping to reduce technical delays and enhance overall project efficiency.
Liaise with customers throughout all stages of the Application Project to ensure complete and accurate capture of technical requirements.
Work closely with the Application Development Engineer to support and resolve production-related issues swiftly and effectively.
Coordinate with the Advanced Batteries Team (ABT) Technical Office to ensure correct application specifications and accurate Bills of Material.
Respond promptly to customer technical enquiries and issues, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
Provide on-site support for installations, including both scheduled and unscheduled follow-up visits.
Deliver in-country training sessions for technical support staff as required, ensuring high levels of technical competence and customer service. Offer remote support and clear next steps for field issues when on-site presence is not feasible.
Lead and manage rapid-response claims handling activities within the region.
Partner with the Regional Business Development Manager (BDM) to gain a deep understanding of customer applications and optimize Exide’s energy storage solutions for mutual benefit.
Collaborate with ABT to continuously refine and adapt the product portfolio to better meet evolving customer needs and expectations.
Collect and analyse technical data from customer feedback, industry conferences, publications, and other sources to contribute to a comprehensive competitive landscape study.
Required Skills:
Degree-level education in Engineering (University or Technical College).

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical and/or mechanical systems engineering.

Solid understanding of battery technologies, with a focus on Lithium-Ion and Battery Management Systems (BMS).

Familiarity with data bus integration protocols such as CAN and RS485.

Experience in industrial and automotive electric vehicle applications.

Knowledge of electric motors and drive systems is a strong advantage.

Hands-on experience in an electrical testing environment.

Exposure to battery systems ranging from low to high voltage (12V to 600V DC) is desirable.&lt;br /&gt;

Über die Stelle:
Sie berichten an den Technical Manager und sind für das Management und die Koordination aller Instandhaltungsaktivitäten des Werks verantwortlich.

Ihre täglichen Aufgaben in dieser Funktion:
Sicherstellung der Maschinen- und Anlagenverfügbarkeit durch Wartungs-/Instandhaltungsarbeiten.
Kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung und Anpassung der Instandhaltungsorganisation.
Umsetzung von Anlagenoptimierungsmaßnahmen und Verbesserungsvorschlägen.
Verantwortung für die Entwicklung und Einhaltung langfristiger Instandhaltungszeitpläne und -budgets.
Etablierung und Überwachung von Messgrößen zur Gewährlistung von ständigen Verbesserungen hinsichtlich Prozessfähigkeit und Anlagenverfügbarkeit.
Verantwortung für die KPI’s bzw. für die Erstellung notwendiger Dokumentationen, Arbeits- und Betriebsanweisungen.
Durchführung von Fehler- und Schwachstellenanalyen. 
Überwachung und Optimierung des technischen Einkaufs.
Etablierung präventiver Instandhaltung in allen Bereichen.
Implementierung von Maintenance-Systemen und Erstellung und Durchführung von R&amp;M Capex-Projekten.
 
Was wir voraussetzen:
Technischer Hochschulabschluss (Maschinenbau o.ä.) oder technische Ausbildung mit anschließender Weiterbildung zum Meister
Umfassende Berufserfahrung (mind. 5 Jahre) im Bereich industrielle Instandhaltung
Führungserfahrung
Gutes mündliches / schriftliches Kommunikationsvermögen in deutscher und englischer Sprache
Selbständiges Handeln, Teamfähigkeit und Motivator
Ausgeprägte administrative und analytische Fähigkeiten, fundierte Kenntnis technischer Richtlinien bzw. Relevanter Gesetzte und Regeln
Anwendungssicherer EDV-Kenntnisse

About the job:

For our growing division Automotive in Azuqueca de Henares (Spain) at the earliest possible date we are looking for a: Design Engineer

Reporting to the Program Manager your mission will be to lead project development related to new products and technical modifications of existing products.

What will your daily responsibilities include in this role?

-Prepare technical drawing documentation and batteries component specifications.
-Make calculations related to processes control parameters to build the product respecting customer requirements.
-Redesign the current batteries and calculate the ratios from Exide batteries or from competition.
-Search, request samples and testing of new components and materials according product design, contacting suppliers.
-Engineering management of Design BOM components and part numbers
Plan, Organize and follow up prototypes and / or presets.
-Participation on homologation of component/materials and product/suppliers.
-Participation in working group projects such as FMEA, 8D, continuous improvement activities, etc
-Participation in internal and external Audits.
-Work in the development of battery designs including raw materials and components
-Support execution of development roadmaps for product lines, including management of individual projects included in the respective product line roadmap
-Be part of development teams for homologation projects to meet project goals
-Capture and facilitate the sharing of best practices and lessons learned across plants
-Ensure alignment with local goals and requirements; support local teams to follow safe launch methodology
-Collaboration in initiatives to improve performance and quality of advanced batteries in partnership with regional and local operations, quality and engineering functions
-Participate and support annual costs saving initiatives concerning product and process
-Participate and support standardization and roll out of design features, measurement methods &amp; processes for AGM and/or Flooded batteries

What we ask for:

-Industrial Engineering Degree (Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical Engineering)
-Experience in industrial environment, not need battery experience but e with experience in plant / operations. Previous experience in R&amp;D or Quality departments is desirable.
-Ability to perform FMEA or risk Analysis for products and process design.
-Knowledge in industrial Production Processes.
-Analytical Thinking
-Business fluent English language.
-Proactive communication with colleagues.
-IT skills and good knowledge in IT tools.
-Knowlwdge to communicate clearly in English ( C1- Advance&lt;br /&gt;
