About the job:

Step into a pivotal leadership role within our fast‑growing Motion division, based in Perth. We’re searching for a driven Sales Manager who’s ready to shape the future of our WA market and strengthen Exide Technologies’ reputation as a trusted, ethical provider of high‑quality industrial solutions.

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, Motion Australasia, you’ll take ownership of delivering regional sales targets, nurturing key customer relationships, and expanding our footprint across the Motion segment.

What will your daily responsibilities include in this role?

Strategic leadership: Build and execute a forward‑thinking sales strategy for the WA region, identifying growth opportunities and driving revenue performance.
Team collaboration: Champion a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement across the division.
Business development: Grow our customer base, strengthen partnerships, and increase market share through proactive engagement and relationship‑building.
Market intelligence: Track industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine sales tactics and stay ahead of the curve.
Financial oversight: Manage the WA Motion budget and monitor key sales metrics to optimise performance and profitability.
Cross‑functional alignment: Work closely with procurement, supply chain, quality, and other teams to ensure seamless execution and shared success.
Compliance focus: Uphold all relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies across sales activities.
Customer support: Equip customers with the training and knowledge they need to operate Exide products safely and efficiently.

What you bring:

5+ years of industrial sales experience with a strong record of delivering results.
Proven success in developing new business within the Australian industrial market.
Relevant degree, trade qualification, or industry experience.
Strong Microsoft Office skills across Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Outstanding communication abilities and a proactive approach to engaging colleagues and customers.&lt;br /&gt;

About the position:
As part of the continued growth of our Automotive division in Europe, we are looking for a Quality Engineer/Technician within the Central Quality team.
The purpose of this role is to assume key responsibilities within the Quality Management System, with a particular focus on coordinating and managing the IATF audit process for Central Automotive. The position will also play a vital role in strengthening collaboration between the plants and central functions, improving quality performance indicators, and contributing to enhanced customer service and customer satisfaction across the division.
What will your daily responsibilities be in this role?
-  Lead the analysis, interpretation and follow‑up of Quality performance indicators to support continuous improvement across the division. 
-  Participate in internal and customer audits, ensuring compliance with quality standards and driving robust readiness across involved teams. 
-  Support and oversee the plants in the preparation, execution and closure of 8D problem‑solving processes, ensuring effectiveness and cross‑site alignment. 
-  Assist the plants in the implementation and verification of corrective and preventive actions, ensuring timely closure and sustainable improvements. 
-  Promote and facilitate the sharing of best practices among plants to strengthen standardization and operational excellence. 
-  Contribute to the standardization and maintenance of quality procedures, ensuring consistency across the Automotive division. 
-  Manage central Quality documentation and prepare regular Quality reports for management and stakeholders. 
-Represent the Central Quality function in cross‑functional projects, ensuring quality requirements are integrated from the outset. 
-  Support warranty case analysis at customer sites when required, ensuring quick and professional feedback loops. 
-  Collaborate with the teams involved in supplier‑related issues to support effective problem resolution. 
-  Coordinate and manage the IATF audit process for Central departments, ensuring readiness, compliance and continuous improvement.
What are we looking for?
-  Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field). 
-  2 to 5 years of experience in a Quality role within an industrial environment, preferably in the Automotive sector.
-  Proven experience working in a Quality Department, ideally with exposure to OEM customer requirements and quality standards.
-  Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, data analysis and basic database handling.
-  Strong orientation toward quality targets, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
-  Experience managing customer Quality requirements, using Quality tools (8D, problem solving, control plans, PFMEA, etc.) and ensuring compliance with Industry standards.
-  Familiarity with internal and customer audits.
- Experience participating in IATF audits&lt;br /&gt;
