We are looking for an ambitious Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Director, this role offers excellent exposure to end-to-end finance operations, financial reporting, commercial analysis, statutory compliance and business improvement initiatives.

Key Role Responsibilities
Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, strong internal controls, and resolution of complex queries.
Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations, and financial reporting outputs, ensuring the integrity of the general ledger and compliance with group reporting deadlines.
Produce management reports, budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and performance insights to support business decision-making.
Monitor revenue, costs, margins and overall financial performance across business units.
Support compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial governance frameworks.
Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives within the finance function.
Contribute to ERP implementation and finance systems projects, providing input into process design and optimisation.
Assist with statutory reporting, external audits, and taxation requirements, including GST, BAS, FBT, and Payroll Tax obligations.
Participate in cross-functional business projects and provide broader support to the finance team and senior management as required.

About You
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
CA or CPA qualified (or working towards completion)
3–5 years' experience in audit, business services, or financial accounting, ideally seeking a first move into a commercial environment
Strong technical accounting, reporting, and reconciliation skills
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Office 365 skills, with experience using ERP systems
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across the business
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders&lt;br /&gt;
