About the job:

For our growing division, Energy Solutions, as soon as possible, we are looking for a Key Accounts Manager.

Reporting to the ES Sales Manager UK your mission will be to implement and execute the strategy of Exide in the area of Sales ES.  Supporting the ES Sales Manager UK and customers to fulfil their budget and long term goals.

What will your daily responsibilities include in this role?

  • Support the ES Sales Manager UK.
  • Pricing, terms, lead escalators, invoicing, accruals, credits including calculations.
  • Full customer documentation files.
  • SOX/EICE.
  • EDI.
  • Regular customer visits (currents and potentials) to increase and consolidate sales.
  • Customer requests (prices, product specifications, battery applications, technical documentation, delivery times etc.).
  • Claim management of customers.
  • Provide information/administration tasks: sales volume review, forecast updating, price list.
  • Keep up to date with the technology development in the market to support customer needs.
  • Support other internal functions (Applications engineering, R&D) about customer and market needs.
  • Follow-up of the RFQs for potential customers.
  • Periodic reporting on the progress and issues with customers.
  • Attend trade fairs for sales prospecting and customer networking.
  • Preparation of conventions, presentation and event for ES customers.

What we ask for:

  • University degree in Business or Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in the Energy Solutions industry.
  • Good market knowledge.
  • Technical knowledge of the product and process.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Fluent English.
