Exide Technologies’ Automotive Division manufactures 12V batteries for all powertrain concepts, covering internal combustion over to full electrician and off-road vehicles. About the job:

For our growing Automotive division in Azuqueca de Henares (Spain) at the earliest possible date we are looking for a: Senior Commodity Manager Plastics EMEA/APAC.

Reporting to the Senior Director Procurement Automotive your mission will be to lead the procurement strategy and supplier management for plastic components.

What will your daily responsibilities include in this role?

- Manage commodity Spend of circa 60 M€ (> 2.000 SKU)
- Define and implement the commodity strategy
- Generate cost improvements across the Commodity
- Lead cross-functional and cross-entity teams to implement sourcing projects following the defined strategy
- Lead/support change management
- Identify , qualify and develop new suppliers
- Drive innovation, change and efficiency, lead/support related initiatives
Management of selected key suppliers acting as the key account manager for Exide
- Maintain price tracker, lead supplier performance management within own commodity
- Uphold internal and external policies, regulations and laws
