Exide Technologies’ Motion division develops top-quality traction batteries and chargers for electric vehicles. About the job:

 

For our dynamic Motion division in the Netherlands we are looking for a: Accountmanager New Business

Reporting to the Area Field Sales Manager your mission will be:

In this role, you will have broad commercial responsibility for OEMs and dealers as well as large end-users. You focus both on the factory deliveries and the ‘after market’ where the task is to inform the end-user (e.g. heavy industry, building materials, etc.) about the energy solutions Exide can offer to optimise the fleet or achieve savings. You focus on specific market segments such as cold stores.

It is important that you can switch strategically and see it as a challenge to win orders within this market segment and build relationships. You work with existing customers and do a lot of acquisition. You analyse the customer's needs and can discuss solutions in an enthusiastic professional and progressive manner.

You will be supported by a customer service team in developing quotations and solutions. But you also need to have the necessary technical knowledge to be able to spar with the client at the table.

What we ask for: 

- Bachelor work - and thinking level with experience within sales through achieved results;

- Relevant experience in B2B sales of industrial/technical products;

- Affinity with technical products;

- A commercially driven hunter with a winner's mentality;

- Can present, negotiate, have discussions;

- Masters the Dutch and English language in both word and writing;

- Has a good command of Microsoft Office;

- Accustomed to working with KPIs and budgets and targets;

- Strong analytical insight and market knowledge;

- Can independently plan and execute sales actions.
