LAB TECHNICIAN ELECTRIC M/F

Profile

Reporting to the Manager Advanced Products & Electrochemical Testing your mission will be: Conduct scheduled electrical tests on batteries, following internal protocols and international standards, to validate, among other things, the performance, safety and durability of the products.

 

What will your daily responsibilities include in this role?

·         Conduct electrical tests on batteries: Carry out scheduled tests following internal protocols and international standards to validate product performance, safety, and durability.

·          Plan and execute electrical testing: Prepare and configure the necessary equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality before each test. Manage basic maintenance or coordinate these tasks with external specialist companies.

·         Analyse results and prepare technical reports: Analyse the data obtained from electrical tests, identify possible deviations or failures, and prepare detailed technical reports documenting the findings.

·         Perform TDA (Tear Down Analysis): Conduct teardown analyses to determine the root causes of potential battery failures and prepare technical documentation.

·         Update the test results database: Record and maintain the database of test results, ensuring traceability and compliance with quality standards.

·         Strictly comply with safety regulations: Apply safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), especially when handling high-voltage batteries and during potentially hazardous tests.

What we ask for:

 ·         Technical education: Vocational training in Technical School required, preferably with an electrical background.

·         Laboratory experience: Prior experience in a laboratory environment is desirable, including hands-on test analysis, method validation, and monitoring of control plans.

·         Industrial environment exposure: Experience working in an industrial setting is desirable. Direct battery experience is not mandatory, but familiarity with plant operations or manufacturing processes is valued.

·         Knowledge of battery standards: Understanding of common battery standards related to electrical performance and physical dimensions is desirable.

·         Task prioritization: Ability to transfer project priorities and deadlines into laboratory working schedule.

·         Analytical skills: solid analytical abilities.

·         Language Low Intermediate business-level English

·         Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word, Power Point and Excel.
