About the position:
For our growing Automotive division in Valencia (Spain), we are looking to hire as soon as possible a: Sales Representative
Reporting to the Sales Manager for Catalonia and the Mediterranean, your mission will be to represent Exide Technologies (TUDOR) in the market and to customers in your assigned area.
What will your daily responsibilities be in this role?
- Manage the customer portfolio in Valencia and the Mediterranean area.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop acquisition strategies.
- Present products and negotiate commercial terms.
- Prepare commercial proposals and close sales agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, customer service) to ensure a smooth experience.
- Analyse the market and competition to adjust the commercial strategy.
- Report sales results and forecasts on a regular basis.
- Comply with Exide's contractual agreements with customers.
- Comply with payment terms.
- Follow up and resolve warranty claims.
- Reduce the cost of warranties.
- Improve sales figures.
- Maintain customer information.
What are we looking for?
- University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing or similar.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in B2B sales, preferably in the automotive or industrial sector.
- Technical knowledge of products related to batteries or automotive components (desirable).
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Office suite.
- High level of English desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
